Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park presents A Christmas Carol in Edmond

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park presents its annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol, adapted by Dr. Robert E. McGill from the Charles Dickens holiday classic. Performances are at 8 p.m. Dec. 14 and 15 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the Pegasus Theatre in the Liberal Arts Building on the University of Central Oklahoma campus in Edmond.

Directed by Susan Riley, this is a one hour chamber presentation of the story, forgoing the spectacle to focus on more intimate storytelling. Tickets are available at the door for $5 each. Call 405-235-3700 or visit www.oklahomashakespeare.com for more information.

Performing for his second year as Ebenezer Scrooge is Wil Rogers, with Nathan Teel making his debut performance as Tiny Tim. Bob Cratchit and his wife are played by Charles Monnot and Hanna Mobley and OSP favorite Doug Brown will appear as Jacob Marley. Rounding out the cast are Josh Langer, Amanda Hopping, Andrea and Megan Bednarz, Sharin Burke, John and Apryl Gehling and Wesley and Jessica James.
