A series of educational programs held in conjunction with
Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park's
Winter production of
Macbeth at OCU.
A Day With Shakespeare
Thursday, October 13 & 20
Friday, October 14
Spend the day at OCU investigating the world of William Shakespeare and the theatre. The day concludes with a production of Macbeth.
- 9:00 am- Check in: Lobby, Kirkpatrick Theatre at OCU
- 9:30 am- Intro to Shakespeare and his theatre, Kirkpatrick Theatre
- 10:00 am- Break into workshop groups
- 10:40 am- Lunch (bring your own sack lunch and drink)
- 11:00 am- Production of Macbeth
- 1:15 - 1:30 pm- Questions and answers with the cast
COST: $6 PER STUDENT, TEACHERS FREE
STUDY GUIDES WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE
PUBLIC EVENING PERFORMANCES OF MACBETH WILL BE 8 PM OCTOBER 14, 15, 21 & 22. PUBLIC MATINEE PERFORMANCE IS AT 2:00 PM OCTOBER 16.
